Parent Teachers partnership

We in panaf view parents as an integral part of Education process and value your input and suggestions. As the relationships between the school and home grows, so does students achievements. As partners in progress, we would love you to actively participate in our activities/programmes e.g. Cultural day, Teacher Day, Open Day, Visiting Day, Christmas Carol etc.

Discipline/Character Education

Whether in the hallway, classroom, playground, waiting room, restroom, hostel, dining hall, school bus, etc, each student is aware of the expected behaviour and every staff member enforces these universal behavioural expectations. We are working on a school wide behaviour system that uses re-enforcement to support these expectations. The framework for our behaviour systems are 6 pillars of character. Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, care and citizenship. These pillars of character exemplify what we expect from our students as they grow to become adults. We rely on your strong support to ensure all these are upheld as disobedience will not go unpunished.

We hold all our students to a standard. We believe they are all capable of learning at high levels. Our teachers work diligently to plan engaging lessons that are differentiated to meet the needs of all our students. Our mentoring programme has been very effective thus our disciplinary committee has been sleeping most of the past two years. We look forward to working with you in this regard in this upcoming school year.

Holidays Assignments

The holiday assignments have been given to students to keep them busy during the holiday. The aim is to re-enforce what was learnt in school and also evaluate the understanding and assimilation of concepts taught. We encourage all parents to see to it that assignments are done and submitted as at when due. Please note that it is better that the assignment is attempted and problems returned, than having a lesson teacher do the work for the student.
